Chairman
His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, the previous Minister of Justice, was born in 1963 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from UAE University. He has previously held the position of Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, where he worked on developing various technical and administrative aspects of the department. This contributed to enhancing the level of judicial and legal services in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department distinguished itself by adopting a comprehensive system of specialized judicial circuits and utilizing the latest technologies in managing and overseeing judicial and administrative processes.
His Excellency also served as Chief Prosecutor of Al Ain, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, and was entrusted with the role of Head of Sharia Judiciary in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. His initiatives had a significant impact on achieving key accomplishments in advancing the justice and judiciary system in Abu Dhabi, leading to high rates of efficiency in case resolution and the development of justice services in the emirate.

The counselor: Ramadan Khalaf Al-Zahman is a seasoned legal expert with over 30 years of experience in the judicial and legal advisory fields. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Damascus and a Master’s in Comparative Law from Omdurman Islamic University. He served as a judge in Syria for 17.5 years, rising to the rank of Advisor in the Courts of Appeal and handling diverse legal domains including commercial, civil, criminal, administrative, and personal status law. After resigning in 2011, he worked as a legal advisor in Abu Dhabi and later joined the Abu Dhabi Courts as a First Court Clerk in the Commercial Court.
